In order to strengthen our Group Data Science and Advanced Analytics team, we are looking for: 

Senior Data Scientist (m/f)

Department: Group Business Analytics

Place of work: Zagreb

Work responsibilities and duties:

  • profiling data coming from several different markets and deriving insights relevant for business development of all members of the banking group
  • communicating insights obtained from the analysis and developing practical data science-based solutions
  • defining methodology & development of business models development (propensity to buy, cross-sell, retention, preapproval, churn, etc.)
  • finding innovative approaches to apply data for achieving business results
  • working autonomously, clearly documenting and presenting the results

Your profile:

  • university Bachelor/Master’s degree in Statistics or another relevant subject (Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science)
  • background in the Data Science/Machine Learning area (3+ years)
  • advanced experience in Python and SQL
  • modelling experience in financial industry
  • familiar with Azure ML, SAS, R
  • knowledge of data science tools and statistical techniques for problem solving
  • creative person who can convert the data into a story with plots and insights
  • passionate about data
  • great interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  • excellent English skills, both written and spoken
